KUW Insights Podcast
I love insights that are based on the knowledge, understanding and wisdom sourced from the Word of God.These three parameters are what insights are all about as the Lord advocates that by wisdom a house is built; and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures. We need to create time in our busy schedule to slow down and ponder over the finer things of life. Our thinking should be facilitated by the Holy Spirit who will cause our thought patterns to align with that of the Almighty God

MIND THE GAP
Welcome to the KUW Insight Podcast. Today’s insight is titled Mind The Gap written by Ade Ojomo and read by Tinuke Akinbulumo:
1. Have you ever felt vulnerable?
2. In what areas has this occurred?
3. What did you do to alleviate this?
The dictionary defines a gap as “An opening in a structure or surface; a cleft or breach”.
In most cases, gaps present an exposure making that makes us vulnerable to impending attacks enemies. Hence why are advised not to create any “gaps” or “openings” that will weaken the effectiveness of our Spiritual Armour of God
Managers of football teams and military commanders understand the need to eliminate gaps in their operational strategies hence the constant change of team formations in terms of attack and defence when it comes to their opponents.
The impact of presenting such exposure, making one vulnerable can be seen in Joshua 8 v 16 -18:
All the men of Ai were called to pursue them, and they pursued Joshua and were lured away from the city. Not a man remained in Ai or Bethel who did not go after Israel. They left the city open and went in pursuit of Israel. Then the LORD said to Joshua, “Hold out toward Ai the javelin that is in your hand, for into your hand I will deliver the city.” So Joshua held out his javelin toward Ai. As soon as he did this, the men in the ambush rose quickly from their position and rushed forward. They entered the city and captured it and quickly set it on fire.
We need to not only “mind the gap”; we need to eliminate totally the gaps in our defences to prevent the enemy from getting a stronghold in our lives. This can be achieved by the following:
1. Admit that vulnerability is an issue in certain areas of our lives.
2. Identify the specific areas
3. Commit them in prayer to the Almighty God so he can cover us and provide the required strength to overcome.
Goodbye and until the next KUW Insight,
