KUW Insights Podcast
I love insights that are based on the knowledge, understanding and wisdom sourced from the Word of God.These three parameters are what insights are all about as the Lord advocates that by wisdom a house is built; and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures. We need to create time in our busy schedule to slow down and ponder over the finer things of life. Our thinking should be facilitated by the Holy Spirit who will cause our thought patterns to align with that of the Almighty God

There is nothing wrong with getting use to someone, but it becomes an issue when it leads to disrespect and lack of appreciation.
Time and time again we see this situation between husbands and wives, pastors and congregation, employer and employees, friends and best friends.
The danger of this situation, especially in marriages is that if the relevant parties are insecure, they will look elsewhere for respect and appreciation.
Jesus was not spared from this concept as we see in Mark 6 v 2-4 as his teaching amazed the people and rather than appreciate the awesomeness of the message, they only saw him as “the carpenter’s son.
When the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him were amazed. “Where did this man get these things?” they asked. “What’s this wisdom that has been given him that he even does miracles! Isn’t this the carpenter? Isn’t this Mary’s son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon? Aren’t his sisters here with us?” And they took offense at him.
To avoid perceiving people with thoughts of them being “only the carpenter’s son” and hence disrespect:
1. Remember that we are all God’s creation
2. Love is never Rude
3. Always honour and appreciate people because we were all created in God’s image
