KUW Insights Podcast
I love insights that are based on the knowledge, understanding and wisdom sourced from the Word of God.These three parameters are what insights are all about as the Lord advocates that by wisdom a house is built; and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures. We need to create time in our busy schedule to slow down and ponder over the finer things of life. Our thinking should be facilitated by the Holy Spirit who will cause our thought patterns to align with that of the Almighty God

The learning curve represents the outcome of a company’s experience when developing a product. As the company becomes more experienced, it is able to develop a better product or develop products more efficiently at a reduced cost because of the experience gathered along the way.
Experts on a particular topic are called and paid top dollar because of the experience they bring to the table. To be an expert in a subject, head knowledge is not sufficient – in-depth practical knowledge based on long-term experience and insight is also required.
A couple married for 25 years will offer more valuable advice than a Pastor that is single and just graduated from Bible school!
It reminds me of a story of a fire that was spreading rapidly, and no one had an idea of what needed to be done. The solution was provided by a man called out of retirement who ask them to take him up in a helicopter and he put his thumb in his mouth and stuck it out of the window. In a sage-like manner – he told them to redirect the spraying of the water to leverage the wind.
The best advice on any subject is obtained from someone who as the expression goes – “has the tee shirt”.
I now understand why the Bible says, “Consider it all joy” when we go through trials”. As we go through the trials, we are progressing along the learning curve in the areas that are affecting us.
The Bible advises us in Hebrew 2 v 17 – 18, that Jesus went through every “learning curve” experienced by humans on our behalf so he could understand our needs and offer his assistance based on his experience:
For this reason, he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people. Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.
As you progress along your learning curve, remember that Jesus is your navigator, and he will take you through the “ups” and “downs” to reach your destination.
